Protecting your private information is our priority. This Privacy Policy (the “Statement”) applies to Zetlands Design LLC., doing business as Wilson Studio (“Zetlands,” “we,” “our,” “us”), which operates the wilsonstudiola.com website (the “Site”), and governs data collection and usage on the Site. The services provided include the display and sale of Zetlands’ custom designed furniture and home accessories (the “Services”).

Collection and Use of Your Personal Information 

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. “Personal Information” means any information which relates to a living, identifiable person. It can include names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses etc. but it is wider than that and includes any other information relating to that person or a combination of information which, if put together, means that the person can be identified.

In order to better provide you with products and services offered by Zetlands, we may collect personally identifiable information, such as your: 

- First and Last Name
- Mailing Address
- E-mail Address
- Phone Number 

We will use your personally identifiable information which we learn through our interactions with you only for the purposes you would reasonably anticipate us doing. This includes, but is not limited to, use to contact you to answer your questions, to fulfill orders, to obtain billing or payment information, to follow-up on prior orders or respond to your comments to ensure your satisfaction, and to contact you with additional information where you have permitted us to do so.

We may use your IP address in conjunction with Google Analytics in order to recognize users and determine their location in order to provide an improved user experience. You may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or Services available on the Site. 

Zetlands may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, and provide customer support. Unless otherwise specified, all such third parties are prohibited from using your Personal Information except to provide these aforementioned services to Zetlands, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information. 

Zetlands may disclose your Personal Information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Zetlands; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Zetlands; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Zetlands, or the public. 

We DO NOT sell your information to other companies.

If you are located in Europe, Zetlands collects and uses the aforementioned Personal Information based on one or many of the following legal basis:

  • we have obtained your prior consent. Please note that for this specific legal basis, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time

  • we have a legitimate interest in carrying out the processing, such as, to maintain our relationship with you or to protect you and us against fraud, and that legitimate interest is not overridden by your interests, fundamental rights, or freedoms

  • we have to process your personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations

  • the processing is necessary in connection with any contract between Zetlands and you


Automatically Collected Information 

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Zetlands. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the Site, to maintain quality of the Services, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site. 


Use of Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies 

The Site may use "cookies", Local Storage (sometimes referred to as “Web Storage” or “DOM Storage”), web beacons, or similar technologies to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your device by a web page server.

One of the primary purposes of these technologies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, these technologies can tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. If you personalize Zetlands pages, or register with the Site or Services, these technologies help Zetlands to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording both your Personal Information, such as email addresses or shipping addresses and your non-Personal Information. When you return to the same Zetlands website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Zetlands features that you customized. 

You have the ability to accept or decline the use of these technologies. Most web browsers automatically accept them, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline them if you prefer. If you choose to decline them, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of this Site’s Services. 


Do Not Track Signals

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. At this time we do not respond to such DNT signals. 

Collection of Your Non-Personal Information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Securing Your Information

All information submitted through wilsonstudiola.com is encrypted using SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) protocol. This encodes and protects your information as it travels across the Internet. All Personal Information you supply is encrypted using a digital certificate from Squarespace, Inc., a leading provider of Internet domain and security technology.

E-mail is an unsecure protocol.  When we send you e-mail, the contents of our e-mail and its headers, including your e-mail address, will be available to intermediaries on the Internet that process the e-mail. Whenever Personal Information must be transmitted over email, we take additional measures to secure same Personal Information.

Zetlands only transfers your Personal Information to those third parties where we can be sure that we can protect your privacy and your rights. When we deal with third parties, we impose appropriate security, privacy and confidentiality obligations on them to ensure that personal information is kept secure. 

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

Though we strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your Personal Information, unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this Site cannot be guaranteed

Access to Your Information

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect and maintain online by contacting our Data Protection Officer by emailing us at Liz@wilsonstudiola.com This will give you the opportunity to review your personally identifiable information or update us on a correction that needs to be made. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information. We will accommodate all requests to correct or destroy any or all of your personally identifiable information collected by us upon verification of your identity.

You may also ask us to change your preferences regarding how we use or disclose your information or let us know that you do not wish to receive any further communication from us. In short, we will disclose any of the following information upon request:

  1. What Personal Information pertaining to the Site user is being processed

  2. Why this information is being processed

  3. Who has access to this Personal Information about the User

  4. How this Personal Information is being used in automated decisions

  5. What processes are using this information

We will provide such customers with the above information free of charge within 30 days of request.

California residents who have established business relationships with us may choose to opt out of our sharing their Personal Information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. California Privacy Rights for Minors

California residents under the age of 18 have the right to remove, or request the removal of, content and information on this site. This request can be made by contacting us at Liz@wilsonstudiola.com and providing your account identification so we can locate your information.

Please note that residual copies of content and/or information that have been deleted may remain on our backup servers. We are not required to remove information if it has been rendered anonymous or if we are required by law to retain it.

This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information. 

Children/Minors

Zetlands does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, Personal Information from persons under the age of 13 (or 16 in Europe). If you are under the age of 13 (or 16 in Europe) please do not use the Site or submit any information through the Site. Any use of or access to the Site by anyone between the ages of 14 and 18 (16 and 18 in Europe) is permitted only with the express written permission of such individual’s legal guardian, and you represent and warrant that you have received such permission (if necessary). If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 (or 16 in Europe) has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete that information from our databases.

E-mail Communications 

From time to time, Zetlands may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Zetlands or click on a link therein. 

If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Zetlands, you may opt out of such communications from your account profile on the Site. 

External Data Storage Sites 

We may use third-party service providers to, process and store your information in the United States.

Visitors from Outside the U.S.

If you are visiting the Site or any of the Services from a location outside of the U.S., your connection will be through and to servers located in the U.S. All Personal Information you provide to us will be maintained in web servers and/or internal systems located within the U.S. By providing us with any Personal Information through the Site or any of the Services, you consent to transfer of such Personal Information to the U.S.

Users in Europe

For your own privacy and security, at our discretion, we may require you to provide your identity before providing the requested information. Please note that Zetlands may take up to 30 days to fulfill such requests.


Data Retention Policy

We will only retain the information for as long as necessary for the purpose for which that information was collected and to the extent permitted or required by applicable laws. When we no longer need to use your information, we will remove it from our systems and records and/or take step to anonymize it so that you can no longer be identified from it in accordance with our internal document retention policies.


Changes to this Statement 

We may revise this agreement and any of the policies listed above from time to time, so please check this Privacy Policy periodically for changes. The date this Privacy Policy was last updated is stated at the end of this document. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it, unless otherwise noted. We will post all changes on the Policy page of our website. By continuing to use our Services after any changes to this user agreement, you agree to abide and be bound by those changes. If you do not agree with any changes to this user agreement, you may discontinue use of our website.
